Fianlly got a chance to head down to Staine's Reservoir this morning. After quite a wait, I eventually got prolonged good views of the
AMERICAN HORNED LARK. A nice looking bird, the white on the face and the rusty flanks made quite a distinctive impression. Fingers crossed it gets split at some point! Also of note was a near summer-plumaged
Black-Necked Grebe and a day total of 15
Ring-Necked Parakeets.
